Finding Your Perfect Ring Size
Getting the right ring size means finding a fit that feels natural, not too tight, not too loose, so your ring becomes a part of you. Here are some simple ways to choose with confidence.
How to Measure at Home
- Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are warm and relaxed.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are cold (they shrink slightly) or just after exercise (they may swell).
- Remember: wider bands fit more snugly than slim ones, so if you’re choosing a wide ring, it’s often best to size up slightly.
Signs of a Good Fit
A ring should:
- Slide over your knuckle without too much effort.
- Feel secure once on, but not tight or uncomfortable.
- Stay in place without spinning around constantly.
Using a Ring You Already Own
If you already have a ring that fits the finger you’d like to size, that’s one of the easiest ways to check. Measure the inside diameter with a ruler or calliper, or compare it against an online printable ring chart.
