I have created a coin for Persian New Year (Nowruz), celebrating the pomegranate and what this beautiful fruit symbolises. Nowruz falls on the spring equinox, honouring the balance of equal light and dark. We then move into lighter days and the spring cycle.

This Talisman represents fertility. Pomegranates known as ‘anar’ in Farsi, symbolises life owing to their many seeds.
