Anar Talisman Pendant
Created to honour Persian New Year (Nowruz), this talisman celebrates the pomegranate and all it symbolises. Nowruz falls on the spring equinox, a moment of balance between light and dark, before we move into brighter days and the renewal of spring.
This coin represents fertility and new beginnings. The pomegranate, known as anar in Farsi, symbolises life through its many seeds - a reminder of the abundance and creative energy that lies within us.
The pendant is strung on a 29-inch chain of half garnet gemstones and half ruby beads, detailed with warm brass accents, and finished with a cabochon ruby set into the base of the pendant.
- Ruby is a stone of vitality, passion, and life force — linked to the root and heart chakras, it encourages strength, desire, and the courage to bring new dreams into being.
- Garnet is traditionally connected with fertility, regeneration, and grounding. It inspires creativity while strengthening our connection to the earth’s cycles.
Together, ruby and garnet harmonise with the fertile energy of spring, supporting you in planting seeds — both literally and metaphorically — and nurturing them into life.
